WRK [wärq] (n.) 
1. The Amharic word for "gold"
2. Prosperity in mind, body, and spirit. Our inner gold, the golden soul within us all.
3. We flourish because we are the decedents of Kings and Queens therefore "gold; it still runs through our veins"

I have been hard at work with a few creative souls, crafting a beautiful new brand: WRK. It is derived from the Amharic word for "gold" and holds much meaning to me and where I come from. It is a representation of the life's "golden lining," my take on the classic "silver lining." This idea reminds us to stay positive even when life is at it's most challenging. It is a reminder of the benevolence of human kind and of the fact that we all, regardless of race, creed, or religion, derive from a rich history filled with Kings, Queens, and glorious people who lived to serve and inspire. That we too are glorious and can follow in these footsteps.

As we spend the next few weeks preparing for our launch, I wanted to reach out to everyone with an opportunity to be a part of this moment.
